DEPLETION OF FOSSIL FUEL, GLOBAL WARMING, AND THE DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION

The other day I ran into a woman in elevator of my apartment building who complained about a recent heat wave. I told her "THIS IS THE FUTURE." This is the fucking future!! Thanks to the release of emissions from fossil fuels the earth's surface is getting hotter each year. At the same time Western Civilization is dependant on fossil fuels for air conditioning. Hey wait until everyone in China has an air conditioner. Wait until the Chinese all have cars. The world wide fuel tank gas gauge is a half full and so Western Civilization will be RUNNING ON EMPTY. When the time oil, gas and coal are depleted, the pace of civilization is going to slow down. By that time people are not going to want to mess with energy generated by nuclear fission - too messy, too many accidents. What if fusion energy never materializes, hot or cold? There is no guarantee that science is going to find a viable energy substitute for gas, coal and oil. Civilization will decline as fuel runs out. People will move to areas with warmer climates because of the high cost of heating fuel since it still is going to get cold in the winter in Europe and in the northern parts of America. So like people will move to Florida which will be stiffling hot. Highways will be empty, lights will be dim, life will cheapen. What if the polar ice caps melt because of global warming? What have these creatures, the size of ants in relation to the size of the earth, done to their own natural habitat. They filled the air with shit, with noxious emissions. Emissions from refridgerators, freon, one of the most widely smuggled substances. People will become dependent on renewable fuels such as wood and hemp oil, but these renewable resources require land, once used for farming, to regenerate.
